why plant the seed of arcadia?
Arcadia was born from a simple refusal. We will not spend our one life propping up systems that strip the land, scatter families, and hollow people out. Instead, we chose to root in one place, accept responsibility for it across generations, and build something that makes the world tangibly more alive.
Arcadia is that choice made real. Appalachian hillside in West Virginia, becoming a stronghold where land, kin, and culture are woven back together.
What is Arcadia?
More than a homestead
-
A place where soil grows deeper each year, forests mature, water runs clearer, and people have a place to stand that cannot be outsourced or evicted.
-
Off grid power, resilient water systems, food grown on site, workshops, tools, and the skills to use them. Arcadia is meant to function in good times and in crisis.
-
A living example that Natural Law, sovereignty, and service can shape a real community. Arcadia is meant to be copied, adapted, and improved elsewhere.

Arcadia will ideally sit on a mix of forest, field, and wetland in West Virginia. The land has a history and with this comes a responsibility to its rehabilitation. Our dream site is:
- Close enough to towns and rail to trade, learn, and work.
-Far enough into the hills to feel like a world of its own
-At least 20-30 acres with room for multiple home sites
-Mixed woods and open ground with legal road access
-Free of contamination risks with rehabilitative potential
Wherever we end up, we will establish the FIVE living zones:
-
The heart of daily life. Lodges, kitchen, workshops, classrooms, tool yards, and guest spaces.
-
Gardens, pastures, orchards, mushroom yards, and working animals that feed the tribe and our neighbors.
-
Forest and wetland kept mostly free of human disturbance, allowed to heal, shelter wildlife, and teach us how little we truly control.
-
Artisan workshops and tool yards
-
Sacred gathering spaces beneath old trees where we hold rites, council, and story.
Who is Arcadia For?
Arcadia is for people who feel the current order grinding them down, but who would rather build than burn.
It is for:
Farmers, makers, teachers, healers, and fighters who want their work to matter.
Families and individuals who want to raise children where the sky and stars still matter.
Allies and partners who would rather place their capital in living systems than in abstractions.
We are not trying to save everyone. We are creating one clear, honest place where people can align their lives with land, law, and service, then radiate that strength outward.
The folk who bring it to life
What comes next?
From vision to ground
If this vision speaks to you, the next step is simple.
You can:
Learn how the land, infrastructure, and systems are being built in detail.
Read the Arcadian Accord and the principles that define our culture.
See how partners and allies can accelerate what is already underway.
Arcadia is already in motion. The question is not whether it will exist. The question is how you will choose to stand in relation to it.
