Herne Siegmann
Steward of Infrastructure, Systems & Regeneration
Herne Siegmann is a writer, millwright, and systems-minded builder focused on the practical development of Arcadia. His background in heavy industrial maintenance has given him hands-on experience with complex mechanical systems, field problem-solving, infrastructure reliability, and the disciplined realities of building things that must actually work. For Arcadia, he brings a grounded approach to off-grid systems, land-based resilience, workshop development, and the integration of traditional skills into a durable modern homestead model.
His interests include regenerative land use, bushcraft, traditional lifeways, practical craftsmanship, and the long-term cultural vision behind Arcadia. He is especially committed to creating a place where useful knowledge is preserved, taught, and lived: a place where food systems, tool use, shelter, education, and community life are all shaped by stewardship, competence, and continuity. His vision for Arcadia is a working stronghold of renewal, one that is spiritually alive, materially functional, and built to endure across generations.
