Welcome to the Arcadian Grove
A sanctum of rooted beauty, careful stewardship, and living order.
What is arcadia?
One piece of ground, three interlocking realities.
-
Forest, field, and wetland on the Appalachian Plateau. The geology, water, and mining history are known and mapped, and every decision is made with that reality in mind. Wherever Arcadia plants its roots, there is a history and future we have chosen to take responsibility for.
-
Arcadia is being built as a working refuge. Off grid power, secure water, honest buildings, roads, work yards, and storage that make repair and production possible. The goal is simple. If larger systems fail, this place should still be able to feed, warm, and shelter the people who live here.
-
This land is meant to hold a multigenerational community of roughly thirty to forty people who live by the Arcadian Accord. Families and individuals who farm, teach, craft, repair, defend, and keep the fire of culture alive. Not a resort, not a retreat center alone. A village with a foundation that supports outreach to other communities.
